Summary
Rotary desiccant air-conditioning systems driven by low grade thermal energy can control humidity and temperature separately using desiccant dehumidification and evaporative cooling. In this paper, the research on rotary desiccant air-conditioning systems is presented and analyzed, including the development of advanced desiccant materials, the optimization of system configurations, and the utilization of solar energy and other low grade thermal energy. Some key problems and future development in the application of rotary desiccant air-conditioning systems are also summarized.
