Summary

This compendium of "1997 French Standards" is destined to be used by plant designers, users and those in charge of production and maintenance. It contains all the "official" elements in order to understand and implement the guidelines on "Machines," that is: published regulations and standards. The most important standards texts are presented in French and English, enabling direct use in export contracts. Among the 26 (including 16 new) European standards provided, this second edition includes European standard EN 1050 of November 1996 as well as Amendment A1 to European Standard EN 292-2 of March 1995.
