Summary
Energy conservation in cold climates is discussed. Three examples used in this report are: the heating and passive ventilation system under the floor in the winter season; the improvement of the thermal environment by buoyant ventilation through the upper opening in the summer season in highly insulated houses; and passive cooling for data processing rooms.
