COMPUTER MODELS ARE AVAILABLE FOR MODELLING RESIDENTIAL TYPE AIR-TO-AIR AIR CONDITIONERS. THE EXTENT OF ACCURACY OF THESE MODELS IS SUCH THAT THEY DO NOT LEND THEMSELVES TO FAST AND SIMPLE MODELLING IN A COMPUTER WITH LIMITED STORAGE, LESS YET IN A HAND CALCULATOR. A SIMPLIFIED MODEL IS NOW DESCRIBED. ITS NATURE IS SUCH THAT THE USER SHOULD USE TEST DATA. IT IS NOT INTENDED AS A SCHEME FOR ESTABLISHING RATING VALUES FOR AIR CONDITIONERS.
