Summary

The equipment for testing room air conditioners is used to measure the parameters such as cooling capacity and power consumption. According to the stipulation in CNAS, the testing organization needs to provide the uncertainty of the test and results as well as the testing results. The air enthalpy testing method is one of the two typical testing methods for room air conditioners, and its uncertainty is influenced by both Class A caused by random effect and Class-B caused by the testing system. Uncertainty fraction for each Class can be divided into uncertainty fractions of several measurement parameters. In this study, the influence of uncertainty fractions of various measurement parameters on the final uncertainty value was explored. From the proportion of the influence of each fraction, the calculation condition was determined and a simplified calculation model for the uncertainty was presented.
