Summary
Dust deposition near ventilation outlets mainly consists of organic particles that stem from the room. The particles are shaped elliptically and aerodynamically behave like spheres with a diameter of 1 to 30 micrometers. Numerical simulation shows that particle deposition is mainly affected by turbulence.
