Number: pap. n. 3

Author(s) : BANY ATA A., AMMARI H.

Summary

A LiBr-water pair of absorbent and refrigerant absorption refrigeration cycle using evacuated tubes solar collector as a heat source was theoretically investigated. Evacuated tubes solar collector, powered by the sun, are a good and sustainable heat generation system for providing the thermal energy required for the generator in the absorption refrigeration system. The LiBr-Water pair is one of the most excellent and environment friendly pair. The performance of the LiBr-Water absorption refrigeration cycle was studied using C++ and MATLAB computer software. The optimum generator temperature using the solar collector for the optimum coefficient of performance at each evaporator, condenser, and absorber temperatures was examined.
