Simulation of the thermal behaviour of ducts due to inside heat transferring fluid flow.
Simulation der thermischen Verhaltens fluiddurchströmter Kanäle.
Author(s) : PIETZSCH R., REPPICH M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The authors developed mathematical modelling of the non-stationary thermal behaviour of thin-walled ducts and tubes due to the flow of heat-transferring fluids. Based on fundamental thermomechanic laws, a partial differential equation system was derived. Solvability is shown by a finite element discretization.
