Summary
The study of heat transfer and mass transfer in the form of falling film is mainly focused on the simulation of heat and mass coupling by using the continuity hypothesis of Navier-Stokes equations model. In this paper, we use the Lattice Boltzmann method to simulate the falling film flow and falling film absorption and get rid of the discontinuity of the gas-liquid two-phase interface. The simulation results are compared with the experimental data in the literature. The results are in good consistency.
