Single-sided natural ventilation: how deep an office?
Author(s) : WALKER R. R., WHITE M. K.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Since conventional air conditioning implies the leakage of CFC or HCFC, it is necessary to determine whether, in certain cases, natural ventilation (through windows) could replace air conditioning. The article describes precise cases, according to the size of office buildings, their orientation with regard to wind and the environment (trees). Tracer gas is used for studying air change in spots which are not easily accessible.
