LA REFRIGERATION SOLAIRE : SIMULATION D'UNE MACHINE A ABSORPTION.

Author(s) : SEUGE P.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THERE ARE MANY SOLUTIONS FOR OBTAINING REFRIGERATION WITH SOLAR ENERGY, THE MAIN CRITERIA IS COST. THE PAPER PRESENTS THE TECHNICAL AND ECONOMICAL ASPECTS OF SOLAR SYSTEMS. THE SOLUTIONS THAT CAN BE APPLIED ARE SURVEYED, TWO OF THEM ARE CONSIDERED AS PROMISING: COMBINED SOLAR COLLECTORS/ABSORPTION MACHINE, AND COMBINED PHOTOVOLTAIC CELL/COMPRESSION MACHINE. THE FORMER IS ANALYSED IN DETAIL WITH A SIMULATION PROGRAM WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO OPTIMISE TECHNOLOGICAL SELECTION. THE COSTS OF BOTH SOLUTIONS ARE ILLUSTRATED BY A CASE STUDY.
