Summary
The awareness of the negative impact of refrigerants and cooling systems on the environment, contributed to the increasing interest in sorption technology applied in refrigeration and heat pump systems. The aim of the paper is to summarize the contributions to the 20th International Congress of Refrigeration in Sydney in the field of adsorption. Furthermore, a short recapitulation of the subjects discussed during a workshop at the same congress is provided.
