Summary
A FEW SPECIFIC GEOMETRIC RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THESURFACES OF A BUILDING ARE DEFINED. ALGORITHMS CONCERNING ANGULAR FACTORS BETWEEN THE HUMAN BODY (SEATED OR STANDING) AND THE SURFACES OF ITS ENVIRONMENT ARE PROPOSED. A CHECK IS DONE BY COMPARING THE DATA WITH A NUMERICAL EXAMPLE PROVIDED BY P. FANGER. WITH THESE ALGORITHMS, THE CONDITIONS OF THERMOHYGROMETRIC COMFORT IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE BUILDING CAN BE CALCULATED.
