Summary

This British Standard is a revision of BS 4434/1989 taking account of the need to specify safe methods of using environmentally friendly refrigerants which may present significantly greater local risks than the halocarbon refrigerants, some of which are considered to be causing environmental damage. The Standard incorporates Amendment n. 1 from March 1997.
