State-of-the-art of research on air conditioning: ozone depletion and increased greenhouse effect.
Kenntnisstand der Klimaforschung: Ozonabbau und erhöhter Treibhauseffekt.
Author(s) : GRASSL H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The causes for stratospheric ozone dilution and increased greenhouse effect have been clarified to a large extent by climate research performed during the last three decades. In order to resolve these two major environmental problems, especially regarding the ozone-depletion and climate-change actions, apart from respect of the Montreal Protocol, a ratified and gradually intensified Kyoto Protocol is also necessary.
