Summary
STEADY LAMINAR MIXED CONVECTION HEAT TRANSFER IS CONSIDERED FOR AN ISOTHERMAL HORIZONTAL CYLINDER PLACED IN A FORCED TRANSVERSE FLOW. THE STUDY IS BASED UPON NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF THE COMPLETE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS. LOW REYNOLDS NUMBERS ARE CONSIDERED (NOT HIGHER THAN 40). RESULTS ARE PRESENTED FOR A PRANDTL NUMBER EQUAL TO 0.73.
