Summary
A THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE STIRLING CRYOCOOLER IN ORDER TO INVESTIGATE THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE AND EFFICIENCY OF THIS COOLER. IT IS FORESEEN THAT THIS CRYOCOOLER WILL HAVE WIDE APPLICATIONS IN THE FUTURE BUT PROBLEMS CONCERNING OPERATING LIFETIME AND THE REDUCTION OF NOISE AND VIBRATION HAVE YET TO BE SOLVED.
