Summary
THE EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION IS CARRIED OUT BY USING FIRSTLY A HOT RESERVOIR AT 14 K, WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO REACH COLD CAPACITIES OF 20 MILLIWATTS ON A LIQUID HELIUM BATH AT 4.2 K, AND A FACTOR OF MERIT OF THE REFRIGERATING CYCLE APPROACHING 20%. DIFFERENT GEOMETRIES OF THE REGENERATOR ARE USED, AND A NUMERICAL SIMULATION MODEL IS DEVELOPED.
