Summary

Detailed experiments have been conducted with regard to the condensation of an azeotropic mixture of carbon tetrachloride and water on a vertical flat plate at atmospheric pressure. The experimental results indicate that the condensation heat-transfer coefficient of the mixture is larger than that of the pure organic vapour. An explanation is given.
