Summary

Description of a study made by the French Environmental Ministry for the future standardization of noise emitted by the units of refrigerated vehicles. A test code is being devised both for the vehicle operating conditions and unit noise during the test, and also for the noise measuring equipment. Results of measurements made on both packaged and non packaged units are given. J.R.
