Summary
A wall cavity with two open slits at top and bottom is expected to regulate overheating of the exterior walls by solar irradiation. The study focuses on estimating the effect with the simulation in steady state. For a cavity wall which has 3000-mm height, 50-mm thickness and 40% aperture ratio of openings, scores of calculations were executed.
