Summary
Wavy fin has been applied in evaporators, condensers and terminal equipment heat exchangers of central air conditioning because of its good heat transfer and friction behaviour. Sinusoidal wavy fin type cooling coil of central air conditioning was studied in this work. The experiments on heat transfer and friction characteristics under various dry and wet conditions were conducted and the results were analyzed. The empirical equations of heat transfer and friction characteristics of sinusoidal wavy fin type heat exchanger were obtained.
