Summary

The paper presents a comparative analysis of energy requirements obtained by applying Doset-PEC software solution for determining the energy performance of buildings with conventional parameters and billed energy consumptions - for space heating and domestic hot water. Analysis is performed for blocks of flats with four and ten levels, with a prefabricated panel structure or masonry. These blocks of flats, situated in Timisoara city, Romania, were thermally rehabilitated in the period 2007-2011. In the end, based on the solutions adopted in the retrofitting projects and on the registered parameters during the years of use after the retrofitting, an optimal solution can be determined in order to establish a starting point for future projects.
