Summary

In France, the sole realisation of absorption solar air conditioning is at Banyuls (eastern Pyrenees). Bordeaux Airport is one of the few buildings to be supplied by a trigeneration installation. A prospective study is therefore given to attempt to identify the various techniques which might produce future air conditioning. In fact, there are very few air-conditioning installations in use which exploit renewable energy sources.
