THE TECHNIQUE INVOLVES THE FULL EHD SOLUTION AND THE USE OF LAGRANGIAN QUADRATURE TO OBTAIN THE INTERNAL STRESS DISTRIBUTIONS IN THE X, Y, Z-DIRECTIONS AND THE SHEAR STRESS DISTRIBUTION AS A FUNCTION OF THE NORMAL PRESSURE AND THE FRICTION FORCE.
