Supercritical heat transfer characteristics in vertically upward flow.

Number: pap. TP-0120

Author(s) : HE J., DANG C., HIHARA E.

Summary

The characteristics of supercritical heat transfer of refrigerant R245fa in heating condition were investigated experimentally in a vertical bare tube with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 840 mm at an constant pressure of 4 MPa, the local heat transfer coefficient for heat flux ranging from 20 to 100 kW/m2 and mass flux stabilizing at 400 kg/m2s. By changing the inlet temperature of test section, the refrigerant state changed to across pseudo-critical point. The experiment data were also compared with existing empirical correlations.
