Type of article: Article
Summary
Correct adjustment of thermostatic expansion valves is very important in the struggle for more efficient freezing and refrigeration plant. Definition of valve characteristics such as valve static and opening superheat must be clear. Knowledge of the application range and evaporator performance is fundamental to correct settings. The construction of the evaporator and the minimum stable signal curve determine the stable operation of the valve.
