Author(s) : NAGDA N. L.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Factors affecting aircraft air quality are discussed and a simplified schematic of an air supply system for a typical commercial aircraft is provided. The paper supplies some of the findings of the research project, which showed that the bleed air quality was excellent, confirming that under normal conditions the aircraft bleed air system provides clean air supply generally exceeding desired levels of air quality in other environments such as homes and offices.
