Summary
The papers present a survey on air-conditioning solutions for high-rise buildings. Many concepts are reviewed, among them, fan-coil units, variable air volume, displacement ventilation with chilled ceilings. Double ventilated facades, lighting, use of CFD analysis, and solar chimneys are dealt with, describing the air-conditioning equipment of the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
