Summary
The paper deals with assessment of technical and economical aspects of heat recovery in refrigeration systems. A close attention has been paid to technically feasible parameters of recovered heat as well as effect of condensation pressure on operation parameters of refrigeration devices. Systems of heat recovery in refrigeration devices on the example of Siemens equipment, buffer vessel of hot water of DK, as well as technical solutions of equipment for heat recovery in water cooling systems by York have been discussed. The evaluation of heat recovery in medium-size supermarket taking into account the vapour superheating, condensation latent heat for various heat loads and various recovered heat rates has been presented in the second part of the paper. An economic assessment of heat recovery systems discussed in the paper has been presented.
