Summary
Technologies for improvement of rotary compressor efficiency in recent years are presented in this paper. In addition to them, new capacity control systems are introduced. The rotary compressor has a strong point for inverter-driven air conditioners, so it is going to be applied to packaged air conditioners and multi-type air conditioners for buildings.
