Summary

ROOM TEMPERATURE LEVELS WERE INVESTIGATED IN 2 PRODUCTION HALLS OF DIFFERENT CONSTRUCTION AND WITH DIFFERENT VENTILATION SYSTEMS. BOTH HALLS ARE USED FOR THE SAME PURPOSE WITH HIGH STANDARDS OF AIR QUALITY AT WORK STATIONS. ROOM COMFORT WAS CLEARLY HIGHER WITH THE < FLOOR AND CEILING > VENTILATION SYSTEM. IN THE SUMMER SEASON, TEMPERATURE VARIATIONS IN HALL B WERE ONLY 3 K, WHILE HALL A HAD TEMPERATURE VARIATIONS OF 7 K WITH THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE. ECONOMIC ASPECTS WERE ALSO INVESTIGATED.
