Summary

The paper presents a commentary on the test method for the direct-current critical current of copper/niobium-titanium composite superconductors up to 1,000 amperes. For direct-current superconducting applications, copper/niobium-titanium composite superconductors are the most popular superconducting materials. Direct-current critical current is the most significant property in practical superconductors, and the establishment of this test method contributes significantly to popularize superconductivity.
