Summary

The new Hôpital européen Georges Pompidou (Georges Pompidou European Hospital) in Paris is totally air-conditioned. Three major requirements governed the design of the air-conditioning systems: hygiene, comfort and low energy consumption. A series of features are used to avoid inter-patient contamination and contamination of the outside environment. Supply and exhaust air are filtered. No exhaust air is re-used within the hospital.
