Summary

In the mentioned time frame the technology of air conditioning has changed in systems, in components, in control systems and in applications. In 1949 in Germany industrial air conditioning was more important than air-conditioning systems in office buildings. Industrial air conditioning is nowadays mainly clean room technology. Major changes have taken place also in work organization. Design, engineering, manufacturing and installation, are now clearly divided. This was almost unknown in 1949.
