Summary

The market for individual air conditioning in Europe in 1992 is given for 7 countries. Tables portray the French market in 1992, and its progress is compared with 1991 for different air-conditioning systems, different types of individual air-conditioners, portable air conditioners, and air-conditioning packaged units. Also described is the potential market for commercial and tertiary buildings. A study of user satisfaction is presented, together with acquisition, utilization and maintenance methods. J.L.
