THE DEVELOPMENTS IN AIR CONDITIONING.

Author(s) : STEIMLE F.

Summary

DURING RECENT YEARS, DEVELOPMENTS WITH BUILDINGS HAVE RAISED NEW PROBLEMS FOR VENTILATION, HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING. IN PARTICULAR, WINDOWS HAVE A CONSIDERABLE EFFECT ON ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN DIFFERENT AREAS. THE REDUCTION OF THE AIR VOLUME AND ITS VARIATION FOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL SAVES A CERTAIN QUANTITY OF ENERGY. IN ADDITION, IT IS NECESSARY TO DEVELOP AIR TERMINAL DEVICES IN ORDER TO OBTAIN GOOD AIR CIRCULATION UNDER ALL CONDITIONS OF AIR FLOW AND TEMPERATURE.
