The efficiency limits of water vapour compressors. Final report.
Author(s) : WIGHT S. E., YOSHINAKA T., LE DREW B. A., et al.
Type of monograph: Report
Summary
This report was prepared as an account of work sponsored by ARTI under its "HVAC&R Research for the 21st Century Program". It determines which compressor configuration might be "best" suited for water vapour compressor applications. The primary focus was to determine the attainable efficiency and poor levels, as well as approximate geometries of single and multistage axial and centrifugal compressors for the selected refrigeration cycle. This report can be downloaded from: www.arti-21cr.org/research/completed/index.html.
