Summary

This sheet presents the ISO CD 14644-1 standard "Clean rooms and related controlled environments. Part I. Classification of particles suspended in the air" which will be adopted as a reference standard for the first time this year. Although the cubic metre has been adopted on a permanent basis, the novel aspect of this standard resides in the adoption of 0.1 micrometre as reference dimension.
