Summary

The year 1993-94 showed a general downward trend in overall production although room air conditioners showed a significant increase because of abnormal summer temperatures. Amongst the review of other types of air conditioner, refrigerators, display cabinets, freezers and refrigeration machinery, only refrigerators and display cabinets showed a significant increase in production and shipment figures.
