THE MINISCREW: A NEW SCREW COMPRESSOR CONCEPT FOR THE LOWER CAPACITY RANGE.
Author(s) : LUNDBERG A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
THE MINISCREW SERIES OF COMPRESSORS, WITH CAPACITIES RANGING FROM 194 TO 65 L/S, HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO ENSURE RELIABLE OPERATION THROUGHOUT A WIDE OPERATING RANGE. IT INCORPORATES A REGULATION SYSTEM WHICH PROVIDES CONTINUOUS CAPACITY CONTROL AND UNLOADED STARTING. THE OIL FILTER AND SUCTION STRAINER ARE INTEGRATED INTO THE COMPRESSOR. EFFICIENCY IS ENSURED IN SPITE OF COMPACT OVERALL DIMENSIONS, SINCE SPEED CAN BE INCREASED BY MEANS OF EITHER FEMALE ROTOR DRIVE OR BUILT-IN GEARING.
