Summary

The high-critical temperature phase in the YBCO system was studied using specimens with various yttrium-barium ratios. The direct-current conductivity was measured, and a theoretical relation between the normalized resistance and temperature at different polaron stabilization energies was taken into account to study the behaviour of superconductor materials in the normal state. The formation of a single superconducting phase was found to be the most preferential for the ranges yttrium-barium between 0.5 and 1 and yttrium + barium between 3 and 4.
