Summary

THE PAPER DESCRIBES THE EFFECTS OF SUPERHEATED SUCTION GAS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF AN HERMETIC REFRIGERATION COMPRESSOR USING THEORETICAL CALCULATIONS AND EXPERIMENTAL EVALUATIONS. THE PAPER SHOWS THE EFFECTS OF SOME FACTORS ON SUPERHEATING THE SUCTION GAS WITHIN THE SHELL OF AN HERMETIC COMPRESSOR. PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT BY REDUCING SUCTION GAS SUPERHEAT IS DISCUSSED.
