Summary

A SIMULATION PROGRAM USING A NETWORK ANALOGUE WAS DEVELOPED FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY ESTIMATING BOTH SOLID AND FLUID TEMPERATURE RISE IN THE COMPRESSOR. FURTHERMORE, A SIMPLE ANALYTICAL METHOD TO CALCULATE VARIATION IN COMPRESSOR EFFICIENCIES WITH SUPERHEATED SUCTION GAS IS SHOWN. THESE THEORETICAL ANALYSIS RESULTS AGREED WITH MEASURED VALUES ON A HERMETIC RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR WITH R22.
