DESCRIBES AN EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF THE THERMAL DISTRIBUTIONS AND THE CONDITIONS OF AIR EXCHANGE IN NATURAL CONVECTION LAMINAR MOTION AND STEADY STATE REGIME OF 2 SUPERIMPOSED ELEMENTS OF SMOOTH VERTICAL WALLS WITH THE SAME THERMAL RESISTANCE BUT A DIFFERENT VALUE OF THE INTERNAL HEAT DEVELOPMENT, SO AS TO SIMULATE THE BEHAVIOUR OF WALLS RADIATED IN DIFFERENT WAYS. STATES THAT BY USING THE SCHLIEREN OPTICAL METHOD IT WAS POSSIBLE TO DEFINE THE TEMPERATURE PROFILES AND GRADIENTS WITHIN THE BOUNDARY LAYER. IT WAS FURTHER POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE LOCAL VALUES OF THE CONVECTION COEFFICIENT AND THE EXPERIMENTAL CORRELATIONS AND TO FIND THE EXPERIMENTAL CORRELATIONS BETWEEN DIMENSIONAL PARAMETERS. (INT.
