Summary

THE THERMOLABYRINTH IS THE APPLICATION OF AN ENERGY-SAVING TECHNOLOGY. THE EARTH HEAT IS UTILIZED PURPOSEFULLY AND DIRECTLY FOR ROOM AIR CONDITIONING. ENERGY GAIN BY AIR COOLING IN SUMMER AND AIR WARMING IN WINTER. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ALMOST CONSTANT TEMPERATURES IS EXPLOITED. A SUBTERRANEOUS CONCRETE THERMOCANAL WITH AN ACCORDINGLY LARGE EXCHANGE SURFACE SERVES AS HEAT EXCHANGER. THE OUTSIDE AIR CURRENT IS EITHER ADMITTED DIRECTLY TO THE VENTILATION AGGREGATES OR UPON DEMAND TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE THERMOLABYRINTH VIA A THERMOSTATIC AUTOMATIC CIRCUIT FOR COOLING OR WARMING THE INCOMING AIR BEFORE.
