The use of superconductive magnets in HGM separation of minerals.
Author(s) : BURNETT S. C.
Summary
The author presents progress in the use of High Gradient Magnetic (HGM) separation since the early 1970's. A 60/40 3 Tesla Separation System was recently installed at the Keramika Horni Briza facility near Kaznejov in the Czech Republic. This is the largest and most technically advanced HGM system in Central Europe.
