Summary

Columns with the mass-transfer packing units are increasingly applied in the technologies of rare gases extraction and deep purification. A wide range of working conditions and the difference in the separated substances properties complicate the use of well-known calculated dependencies and recommendations for the engineering of rectification devices of the mentioned type. In many cases correct information can be received only with the help of an experiment, using corresponding model equipment. This article is dedicated to the creation of the stand for solving the wide range of applied problems in the field of cryogenic products rectification.
