Summary
VENTILATION FANS ARE SIZED FOR MAXIMUM DESIGN FLOW, WHICH MAY ITSELF BE HIGH FOR THE ACTUAL WORKING LOAD. MOST OF THE TIME A LOWER FAN SPEED WILL SATISFY THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. VARIABLE SPEED AC DRIVES CAN BALANCE THE FAN TO THE LOAD, REDUCING POWER AND MAINTAINING A HIGH POWER FACTOR. A.R.T.
