Thermal activation of building construction: possible use in building reconstruction.
Thermische Bauteilaktivierung auch bei Bauwerksanierungen.
Author(s) : GLÜCK B.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
The thermal activation of concrete ceilings, also called concrete core activation, has attracted a lot of interest over the last few years. Since the water tubing registers must be brought in during the concreting process, this technology is not applicable in the case of reconstruction. To be able to use the energy benefits (which occur with the use of water temperatures near room temperature) also within the construction area, a set of suggestions is provided. A version, which even includes storage in the existing concrete ceilings, is examined taking into consideration its efficiency.
